He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Master of Architecture program at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University where he teaches design studios, thesis, a history/theory seminar, and professional practice.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Taubman College of the University of Michigan and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Michael is the founder and principal of GRAF (Grand Rapids Architecture Firm). Prior to founding GRAF, he was an Associate at RMA Architects of Mumbai and Boston and a Design Architect at AMDG Architects in Grand Rapids.
